FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

1. Do I need an activity kit to participate?

No!  While the kits are encouraged to allow you to follow along, a kit is not mandatory.


2. Is food included in the kits?

Presently no, but in the distant future we would like to include pre-measured ingredients.We DO provide a few kitchen essentials and items for the craft activity.


3. How do I log into the virtual event?

A secure Zoom link, along with a shopping list and recipe card, will be emailed after your ticket purchase.

4. I just bought my FUNshop tickets, what’s next?

Please email us back with the names and ages of all participants. You can press reply to the confirmation email or send us an email at info@kidscreatefun.com. Be sure to include your confirmation number.

5. If I have multiple kids, do I need to pay for each kid?

Yes. Each child will receive their own ticket and kit.

6. What age is this FUN!shop meant for?

All ages are welcome; however, we have found that these FUN!shops are most suitable for ages 5-12.  For our youngest participants, we highly recommend parent involvement.

7. What is the Time Zone for this virtual event?

Our FUNshops are in the Central Time Zone.  If you need to know what this would look like for your time zone, you may utilize https://www.timezoneconverter.com/.

8. As a parent, do I need to actively participate?

We strongly recommend participation, especially with young children (under 8), for safety with using the oven.  We also have seen the power of connection when families come together!

9. What does a 90 minute FUN!shop entail?

With your ticket, you receive two classes for the price of one.  The event includes:

Interactive baking or cooking demonstrations      

Hands-on arts and crafts activity

Engaged learning lesson

FUN!ification (FUN! with games) which is game playing
relating to the activity

Surprises and delights for the kids with games and prizes


10. I’m a founding member, how do I purchase my ticket at a discounted price?

If you are a founding member, email us at info@kidscreatefun.com for a special link to purchase your ticket at your founding members price.


11. What if my child has a food allergy?

Currently all food ingredients you provide for the event.  You can adjust accordingly.

12. How do I get an activity kit?

When you purchase either a Founding Member, Early Bird or General Admission ticket, a kit will be shipped to you.

13. Is there a kit delivery fee?

Your kit delivery fee is included with your ticket, unless you choose to get a kit after purchasing a no kit ticket.  The shipping and handling fee will be $15.99 at that time.

14. Can I request a reFUN!d?

No.  All tickets are non-reFUN!dable.  They can be transferred before September 21, 2021.
